Passive and active therapeutic properties of the FaceFormer are presented on a group of 12 patients, objectified with the lip force meter (Myo-Bar-Meter, ISST-Unna) and compared to a comparison group of 12 patients. The statistical analysis was carried out using the SPSS program (version 10.5.2).<\/p>\n<h2><b>Results<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>There was a statistically highly significant (p=0.008) improvement in incompetent lip posture compared to the control group. In the case of sucking habits, a statistically significant reduction was found in the patient group &#8211; at least in the context of short-term monitoring between 3 and 6 months (p&lt;0.03).
