Visible successes are achieved through exercises with the FaceFormer and oral stimulation plates (OSP). Louis’ mother reports on the excellent progress her son has made since coming to ISST Unna for therapy.

Visible success with FaceFormer and OSP

My son Louis has already undergone a lot of speech therapy – 5 years of speech therapy with a Castillo Morales therapist – without success. Our great hope, 4 weeks of speech rehabilitation – without success.

We have now been at ISST in Unna for 5 months. Louis works with the FaceFormer and the oral stimulation plate.

He has accepted his two new training devices from the very beginning and is highly motivated. He is also noticing the successes that were unfortunately lacking with the previous therapies. His nasal drip is less, his pronunciation is clearer, his tongue, which used to lie limply at the base of his tongue, now works with him when he speaks, his tongue is now at the top when he is at rest, which further moulds his upper jaw…

I could list many more successes that have become visible since the training. It’s a great relief for all of us to have finally found a therapy that makes a difference. I’m happy to accept the 125km journey each way!!!
